LET’S start AT THE BEGINNING – a little about us
After finishing school I had an opportunity to work part time with Eat Greek Caterers, my passion for food, conceptualizing events and coordination grew immensely. I found myself in the corporate world after studying but I did not feel fulfilled, I left and started a joint venture with a colleague called Memorable Events, our focus was mainly corporates and we worked with Brands such as Virgin Active, Renault, Kia and Tata Motors. We also went to do a corporate event at the Durban July.
In the last year I have been a partner in a company called Deezign Concepts where our specialty was conceptualizing events from Baby showers, Bridal Showers, Birthday Parties and weddings. We offered a complete solution from décor to catering and everything in-between and after a successful year, opportunities have now allowed me to branch out in my own capacity.
Upthink Events was born out of a desire to create a truly client focused events management company with a strong creative twist. The business was founded in following our dream to have a small, bespoke yet passionate and experienced team that delivers a truly memorable experience for our clients.
At Upthink Events we ensure we go that extra mile to deliver excellence and perfection in every event that we produce. We provide a number of services to help plan everything from start to finish and take the stress away from you. This is what we do all day every day and our expertise, knowledge, and combined experience of 15 years in the events industry will shine through in the way we work with you personally and professionally. Weddings

Party's
On a weekly basis we produce events from intimate cocktail parties at private residences, Parties celebrating Milestone Birthdays, Bridal and Baby Showers. We offer a full solution package that takes care of not only the décor but full catering, Candy table with themed cake, cupcakes, cake pops and cookies. We also offer Videography, Photography, DJ and Photobooth services.
